Electricity Invoicing Services
This is achieved by purchasing under a bulk energy contract and passing some of these advantages to its customers while actively managing the risk for being a market participant. The benefit from this strategy is filtered down to providing customers with a lower energy option whilst still retaining the high level of customer service that EDL customers have enjoyed over the past 15 years.
Where possible 100% renewal energy is provided by their energy partner Meridian Energy.
EDL reads all meter month (where access is available) so there are no estimates required.
- The energy used for that month is the exact amount that is invoiced.
There are no additional fees for moving in or moving out. There are no special fees for meter or usage audits,
Payments can be made by cheque, internet banking, direct debit over the counter at the ASB bank.
Water Invoicing Services
Many building managers are turning to invoicing residents for water on a metered basis. EDL offer a monthly water billing service that recovers the costs of water usage based on actual water meter readings. Remote water meters are usually installed and often the water recovery and electricity can be invoiced on the same monthly bill.
Gas Invoicing Service
Electricity Direct also manage the gas customer network on Princes Wharf. These customers enjoy the same level of customer service and lower pricing as those customers on the electrical networks that EDL manage. In some cases the gas invoice may also be included on the monthly Utility invoice.
